Changelog

This page tracks user-visible changes to the ASF Developer API — the contract published in spec/openapi.yaml. Each entry is anchored to a published spec version.

Breaking changes are bumped to a new major version and announced to all active partners at least 30 days before they ship to production.

Version policy

• Patch (1.0.x) — Doc-only corrections, schema clarifications, additive examples.
• Minor (1.x.0) — New optional fields, new endpoints, new enum values that gracefully degrade.
• Major (x.0.0) — Removed or renamed fields, required new fields, changed semantics. Partners get advance notice.

1.0.0 — 2025-01

Initial public release of the partner-facing developer portal at developer.asf.org.au.

Endpoints in scope

• GET /fundraisers — validate a fundraiser’s enrolment with a channel.
• POST /donations — record a partner-side donation.
• POST /remittances — reconcile bank-settled remittances against donation references.
• GET /accounts/{id} — read fundraiser account details, including products and campaigns.

Security model

Every request requires client_id, and client_secret headers. Missing any one returns 401 Unauthorized. See Authentication.

Channels supported

• Shopify — order-driven donations from the ASF’s Donate at Checkout Shopify app.
• revolutioniseSPORT — registration and event donations from revolutioniseSPORT.
